THE CROSS OF RECONCILIATION WORLD OUTREACH.
Statement of Faith.

Here is our statement of faith based on the written word of God:
GOD - The Father.
We believe God as the Creator of Heaven and Earth and all that are in them. Genesis 1:1. We believe there is only one God who manifests Himself as The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
JESUS - The Son
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and through Him we become the children of God. John 1:12 . We believe in the sinless conception and birth of Jesus Christ. Luke 1: 35. We believe he suffered, died, buried, and on the third day, He resurrected. We believe in the present intercessory work of Christ (for the saints) at the right hand of the Father. Romans 8:34. We believe in the Rapture of the saints, and in the Second Coming of Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17. We believe there is no other name/way by which we can be saved except Jesus. John 14:6.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit: His Gifts, and His Fruits. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 2:4.
THE BIBLE.
We believe that ALL scripture is given by the inspiration of God. 2 Timothy 3:16;1 Peter 1:21. We believe the Bible is our manual for living, and the road map for our pilgrimage. Psalm 119:105; Proverbs 6:23.
THE CHURCH.
We believe the Church of the living God is one and universal, irrespective of whatever name or denomination a local assembly is given. Matthew 16:18. We believe the Church is God's family on earth, and in its unity the Father is glorified. John 17:11,21-23. We believe the Church is the pillar and ground of the truth. 1 Timothy 3:15.
CHRISTIAN SERVICE.
We believe in service unto God, and man. Exodus 23:25. We believe we are saved to serve. Exodus 3:12;5:1;12:31; Luke 1:74.
PRAYER.
We believe in all kinds of prayer. Ephesians 6:18. We believe prayer is the Christian's access line to God, and it is a means of strengthening our relationship with the Father..
INTERCESSION.
We believe intercession is a major tool for the End-Time global harvest of souls. Matthew 9:38; 1Timothy 2:3,4. We believe our world experiences peace through intercession. 1 Timothy 2:1-3. We believe the Will of God is established on earth through the intercessory prayer of the saints. Matthew 6:10.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE.
We believe prayer is not only about communicating with God, but it is also declaring victory over the forces that rise against the will of God on earth. Hence, spiritual warfare. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6; Ephesians 6:12.-17.
WORSHIP:
We believe worship unto God is a spiritual exercise, and should be done in spirit and truth. John 4:23.
SOUL-WINNING:
We believe that winning souls is the number one duty of every believer. Be it one-on-one, house-to-house, or mass evangelism, the Commandment is clearly spelt out in the scripture: Mark 16:15.
DISCIPLESHIP.
We believe that souls won, but not discipled are like fruits harvested, but not preserved. We believe every soul won should be properly discipled for spiritual growth and formation of Christ-like nature. Discipleship is our Lord Jesus' pattern of leadership.
WATER BAPTISM :
We believe every believer in Christ Jesus must be baptized in water as a means of identifying with Christ in His death and resurrection. Romans 6:3-6.
MARRIAGE
. We believe in the Holy Matrimony of one man to one woman. We believe christian marriage is the breeding ground for raising godly seed, and a means of expanding the kingdom of God on earth.
CHRISTENING:
We believe in giving names to a new-born baby, especially on the eight days according to the biblical pattern. Luke 1:59. We believe names are significant; Hence, only names that honour God and favour the destiny of a child should be given. Matthew 1:21.
THE HOLY COMMUNION
We believe the Eucharist is an integral part of the Christian sacraments, and should be adminstered by the believers on regularly basis,as a way of remembering the Lord, and strengthening unity among the believers.Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:24.
ORDINATION/CONSECRATION:
We believe in setting apart of some trained individuals in the church, for specialized works, based on the calling of God on their lives. This is done by anointing them with holy oil as done as directed by the Holy Ghost. Exodus 28:41; 30:30; Mark 3:14 and 15.
HOLINESS:
We believe that having received the nature of righteousness through faith in Christ Jesus, believers in Christ can live a holy life unto the Lord. Hebrews 12:14.
GIVING:
We believe there is nothing we have that we did not receive from God.1 Corinthians 4:7.Hence,we should be willing to release it as occasion demands. We believe giving advances the kingdom of God on earth, and provokes blessings upon the givers.Hence,we encourage its practice. However,it must be done willingly and cheerfully.2 Corinthians 9:6-7.
ANGELS:
We believe there are ministering spirits called "angels." They are sent to serve the heirs of salvation i.e. the believers.Hence,they must never be worshipped. Hebrews 1:14.
RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD:
We believe that the saints who slept in Christ shall be raised incorruptibly on the last day. 1Corinthians 15:52; 1Thessalonians 4:16.
ETERNAL / JUDGEMENT REWARD:
We believe that God is the Rewarder of those that diligently seek Him and will on the last day reward everyone according to how his work shall be. Hebrews 11:6; Revelation 21:12 ; Romans 14:10 and 12.
